Three years ago, a friend from HS connected me with a woman who started up this light event, and I saw if I wanted to document the event itself. I was a little unsure about it since I knew nothing about light art. The next year, I was asked to come a bit earlier to document some of the prep and the event itself. This year, I came a day before, spent the night, and did the prep and the event itself. I ended up sleeping (not sleeping) in my car since I am a bit too long. I did have these thin blow-up things. Also, these are not your regular Christmas lights.
Since I was there longer this year and was more comfortable with the people, I interacted more, socialized more, and even helped out with the installations this year, which was fun.
