Welcome!
I work with artists, collectors, creatives, realtors, and anyone who sees the beauty in the overlooked
I am a photographer and painter who is drawn to Walker Evans and Robert Frank. I photograph in a narrative style — capturing quiet, unobtrusive moments that articulate something deeper about time, place, and person. I often shoot in black and white to highlight texture, light, and small particulars that might otherwise pass us by. When I do use color, it's deliberate — particularly when I'm working with red, a color I have an innate attraction to because of its emotional impact and presence.
My eye is for the in-between and the natural — what everyone passes by. I'll most likely be seen with a camera in hand, ready to seize a fleeting moment before it's gone. I photograph from close-knit parties to street life, always seeking truth and mood.
In addition to photography, I'm also a painter and am now experimenting with abstraction and conceptual work. My "Modernized" series is a departure from my realism — built from collected source material and manipulated into layered, abstract works. Painting gives me a means of expression of what I can't always express with a camera or with words.
I have a half-updated blog on which I write about my work, travels, and art experience. My work has been shown, sold through galleries, and is held in several private collections. I also provide scanning services for old photographs and documents — a nod to my love of grasping what's typically lost.
I'm a neurodivergent artist (I prefer the word "neurospicy") who was late-diagnosed — and this is how I see, perceive, and document the world.
Besides photos and painting, you can find me at estate sales, sourcing items for people as well as helping stage houses for listings, watching a good movie.
