Hike #22
As I was there a guy came to the water and said that theres a path to another park ( drove past it) and to stay on the trail because it cuts through private land. And that path leads you to another spot where you can see the river. If you walk up the gravel path if takes you to a pond. It was a bit muddy. The trails are very easy some spots there were roots and mud but besides that they were fine.
Willows at Brandow Point in Catskill.. Decided to go to the other side of the river for a change and stoped at a park I have driven past before. Theres a sign near the drive way as well as a big red house. Theres a barn thing you walk through to start the trail, with info about the land and animals you may see. The path leads you down to the river. Theres an old camp house as well as a bench.

His work is about things going on in the world the deal with social issues as well as political.
He went to an alternative high school where most of the kids who went there were artistic. He did not have a very easy time growing up.
He went from having nothing at all selling a single painting in the matter of a few years.
First American show took place in 1982 at the Annina Nosei gallery where he worked in the basement
He was good friends with Andy.

Basquiat x Warhol Show in Kinderhook
The School in Kinderhook (Jack Shainman) is the best gallery/art museum in Columbia County . This was my first opening at this gallery and it was very fun. I went when it first started and did the tour and then went outside and ran into a bunch of people I knew as well as met new people. The art is also amazing as well, I have seen there work before but not like this. I am defiantly going to go back when there is less people and take more time seeing the show. It got packed and there were at times big lines going to the sidewalk. Its a must see show as well as the building over all if you have not been there yet.
